Potato dumplings or klyotsky are balls of potato dough that can be boiled and stewed. And meatballs are minced meat products that are often stewed with gravy. If you combine these two products, you will get a very satisfying dish that will be a great alternative to varenyky.

Ingredients for dumplings:
- 250 g boiled potatoes
- 130 g of flour
- egg + pinch of salt
- 120 g of onions
- 300 g of minced meat (any)
- 10 g of garlic, salt, pepper, paprika

Ingredients for the sauce:
- 400 g of milk
- 20 g of butter
- 1 tbsp of flour
- salt, paprika
- 10 g of oil for frying

1. First, prepare the dumplings. Mix boiled potatoes, salt, egg and flour. The dough will be sticky, so form the balls with wet hands. Make the dumplings the size of a walnut.

2. Prepare the meatball, namely mix the minced meat, finely chopped onion, pressed garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Make small meatballs with wet hands.

3. Fry the meatballs in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes on each side and remove from the pan.

4. Add butter to the frying pan to melt. Add flour and mix vigorously. Add milk and stir everything. Add salt and paprika (the sauce will be darker then, if you want a creamier color, don't add it).

5. Cover the meatballs and dumplings with a lid and simmer over low heat for up to 15 minutes. Stir from time to time to prevent them from sticking to the bottom. Sprinkle with herbs to serve.
