On her Instagram page, nutritionist Svitlana Fus recommended eating soups and preparing them in such a way as to preserve the maximum value of all the ingredients.

The expert noted that people with various diseases of the digestive system should cook

  • Low-fat broths made from poultry, rabbit, and beef are highly nutritious products;
  • puree soups are gentle nutrition for the gastric and intestinal mucosa.

Fus named the basic rules for cooking soup:

  • Do not overcook vegetables, let them be cooked al dente.
  • The soup should consist of vegetables - potatoes, onions, carrots, you can add any vegetables to taste - celery, parsnips, zucchini, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, all kinds of cabbage, and herbs.
  • Forget about fatty, rich broths, and instead make a light one from chicken, turkey breast without fat and skin, beef tenderloin, rabbit, fish, vegetables, or mushrooms, or you can simply cook the soup in water.
  • Add cereals and pasta in small quantities, and you can also add meat, fish, and eggs.
