Quick pickles: crispy and spicy
If you want to keep your cucumbers crisp and flavorful, pickling is the way to go. The vegetable is poured with a spicy brine, which adds spice and impregnates the product with various flavors. The cucumbers will be ready very quickly.
The idea of cooking crispy lightly salted cucumbers was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Khrystyna Petrash (kristy_cookery).
Ingredients:
- cucumbers
- salt
- garlic
- dill
- drinking water and a jar (or glass container)
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and trim the cucumbers on both sides, cut into four pieces.
2. Put the halved garlic cloves, dill, then cucumbers on the bottom, then dill and garlic on top.
3. Dissolve the salt in water and pour so that it completely covers the cucumbers and close the lid.
4. The proportions should be as follows: for 0.5 liters of water – 1 tsp of salt, for 1 liter of water – 1 tbsp.
5. Put the jar/container in the refrigerator. Not in a warm place, as this will ferment the vegetable and make it soft.
