Spectacular "Zebra" cake: how to make an unusual pattern
This cake will surprise you not only with its amazing taste but also with its spectacular appearance. The dough is quite ordinary and very easy to prepare, but it is put into the mold in such a way as to create the color of a zebra. The pattern is created with a toothpick.
The idea for the "Zebra" cake was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yuliia with the nickname juulscooking.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- sugar – 1 cup (volume 200 ml)
- sour cream – 1 cup (20% fat)
- melted butter – 100 g
- slaked vinegar soda – 1/2 tsp.
- flour – 2.5 cups
- cocoa – 2 tbsp.
Cooking method:
1. Mix all the ingredients well into a homogeneous dough. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Add cocoa to the second part and mix. We get chocolate dough and regular dough.
2. Grease the mold with butter and put 1 tbsp of dough in turn. 1 spoonful of white dough, then 1 spoonful of chocolate dough, and so on. Then make strips in a circle with a skewer.
3. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
