Honey cake without rolling out cakes: a lazy recipe
Honey Cake is a delicious homemade cake based on delicate honey cakes and sour cream. Although it is not difficult to make this dessert and every housewife can handle it, few people like to spend a long time with cakes. Therefore, there is a very convenient alternative.
Food blogger Shumak Inna (shumak_inna) shared a recipe for Honey cake which does not require rolling out cakes on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 5 pcs
- sugar – 160 g
- Honey – 160 g
- butter – 80 g
- flour – 220 g
- baking soda – 1 tsp
- salt – a pinch
Cream:
- sour cream
- sugar
- vanilla sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Beat eggs with sugar and salt.
2. Melt the honey with baking soda and butter until the mass becomes white.
3. Mix the resulting mass with egg.
4. Gradually add the flour. Knead the dough. It should be as thick as sour cream.
5. Cover a baking sheet with parchment and pour half of the dough.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
7. Bake the second cake using the same technology.
8. Cut each finished cake into 2 parts and trim the sides. You should get 4 cakes.
9. Mix the ingredients for the cream and grease the cake.
10. Mash the remaining dry sides into crumbs and decorate the cake.
