To make traditional chebureks, you need to prepare the batter, wait for it to rise, and then roll it out. This process takes a lot of time. Therefore, you can use a much simpler technology and make chebureks from thin crepes. They are very juicy and crispy.

The idea of making chebureks from pancakes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeria Demchuk (mrs.demenchuk).

Ingredients for pancakes:

  • salt - 1 tsp

Ingredients for the filling:

  • minced meat (any) - 600 g
  • onion - 1 pc (large)
  • salt - a pinch
  • favorite spices
  • boiled water at room temperature - 50 ml

Method of preparation:

2. Prepare the crepes: add salt and sugar to the eggs and beat thoroughly with a whisk. Add flour and pour in some milk, mix thoroughly.

3. Add the rest of the milk and oil, and mix well until smooth. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
