Babaganoush: how to quickly and deliciously prepare a savory appetizer
Babaganoush is a popular oriental appetizer, the main ingredients of which are eggplant and tahini, and garlic and cilantro add a spicy flavor to the dish. You can eat the appetizer with meat, bread, and pita bread.
Chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious eggplant babaganoush with garlic and tahini, which turns out to be very spicy.
Ingredients:
- Eggplant - 2 pcs.
- Olive oil - 10 ml
- Salt, pepper - to taste
- Garlic - 5 pcs.
- Tahini - 20 g
- Lemon juice - 5 g
- Cilantro - 5 g
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the eggplants, make a mesh with a knife, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Put them on parchment and bake until tender.
2. Finely chop the garlic and cilantro.
3. Pick out the cooked eggplants with a spoon, put them in a bowl, add the herbs, garlic, lemon juice, tahini, and mix.
Serve the appetizer with pita bread.
