Pad Thai is a classic Thai dish made of fried rice noodles with vegetables and a flavorful sauce. The grilled rice noodle dish was considered street food in local restaurants in Thailand, and you can easily prepare it at home.

Noodles with shrimp and soy sprouts

Ingredients:

  • rice noodles - 200 g
  • shrimp - 10 pieces
  • fillet - 100 g
  • tofu - 100 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • peanuts - 40 g
  • soybean sprouts - 50 g
  • green onions - 20 g
  • olive oil - 20 ml

For the sauce:

  • oil - 20 ml
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • oyster sauce - 1, 5 tbsp.
  • tamarind sauce - 2 tbsp.
  • fish sauce - 1 tbsp.
  • water - 150 ml
  • garlic - 1 clove.
  • chili pepper - 1 pc.

Method of preparation:

  1. First of all, cut the cheese into cubes, throw it into a preheated frying pan, and fry well in vegetable oil.
  2. Cut the fillet and add it to the pan with the shrimp, stirring constantly so that nothing sticks to the bottom.
  3. Sauce: in a separate bowl, mix sugar, oyster, and fish sauce, as well as tamarind sauce, and mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Pour the sauce into a hot frying pan, add garlic, chili, water, and rice noodles, and cook for about 3 minutes.
  5. Chop the green onions, grate the carrots finely, and add them to the noodles. Add the fried shrimp, tofu, and fillet and stir.
  6. Fry an egg and add it to the finished dish, mix well.

Sprinkle with roasted peanuts and soy sprouts before serving.
