A delicious puff pastry pie with mushrooms in a hurry: Yevhen Klopotenko shares his recipe
One of the best holiday and everyday dishes, hearty and very easy to prepare, is pies. All of them are prepared in a very basic way. It is enough to make a good dough and a delicious filling.
Chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for a mushroom pie on puff pastry on his YouTube channel, which you can prepare in just 40 minutes (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Ingredients:
- unleavened puff pastry – 500 g
- eggs – 1 pc
- leek – 1 pc
- mushrooms – 300 g
- cherries – 300 g
- dry porcini mushrooms – 50 g
- olive oil – 2 tbsp
- breadcrumbs – 3-4 tbsp
- ground coriander – 1 tsp
- olive oil – 1-3 tbsp
- salt, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Defrost the dough.
2. Cut the mushrooms into medium-sized pieces so that they are well-fried.
3. Cut the onion (white) part into half rings.
4. Cover the dried mushrooms with water and leave for 30 minutes.
5. Then chop them finely.
6. Heat a frying pan well, add oil, and fry the onion.
7. Then add all the mushrooms and fry until golden brown.
8. Transfer the cooked mushrooms to a bowl and add the breadcrumbs, mix well.
9. Add the ground coriander and mix thoroughly.
10. Roll out the dough, sprinkle with a little flour, and divide into two parts.
11. Put it in the mold so that the edges hang down.
12. Put the filling and gently wrap the edges, grease the top with an egg, and put in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes at 180°C.
