Choosing a ripe avocado is quite a task. But even if you made a mistake this time and bought an avocado that was too hard, don't be upset. In this form, it can be deliciously marinated and eaten as a complete snack.
Chef Vasyl Mishlen shared a recipe for pickled avocados on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- avocado - 1-2 pcs
- onion - 1 pc
- garlic - 3 cloves
- jalapenos
- soy sauce - 3 tbsp
- balsamic vinegar - 2 tbsp
- honey - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare some ingredients: cut the avocado into slices, chop the onion and garlic.
2. Mix avocado, onion, and garlic in a bowl, and add all the necessary spices, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and honey. Mix well.
3. Cover with foil and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
