Tastes like porcini mushrooms: a quick and budget-friendly eggplant appetizer
Eggplant is a very healthy, tasty and easy-to-cook vegetable that can be the basis for appetizers and caviar. They can also be stewed with vegetables and cream.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious stewed eggplant with cream and spices on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- onions - 3-4 pcs.
- eggplant - 4 pcs.
- salt - 1/2 or 1 tsp.
- pepper - 1/3 tsp.
- dry garlic - 1 tsp.
- cream or sour cream - 150-200 ml
- oil for frying
- greens
Method of preparation:
1️. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry in a frying pan until golden brown.
2. Add the peeled eggplant and fry until tender.
3️. Add spices: salt, pepper, garlic and pour cream or sour cream (3-4 tbsp of sour cream), fry for another 2-3 minutes, stirring.
Sprinkle with chopped greens before serving!
