Spicy baked pesto potatoes according to the recipe of Hector Jimenez-Bravo
If you want to cook potatoes in an unusual way, don't fry them to preserve their beneficial properties, but rather bake them. For a bright flavor, add herbs, spices, garlic, cheeses, and aromatic oils.
Chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe for delicious baked potatoes with pesto sauce on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 200 g
Pesto:
- Basil - 300 g
- Walnuts - 80 g
- Parmesan cheese - 100 g
- Olive oil - 50-70 ml
- Garlic - 1 clove.
- Salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and boil the potatoes in salted water until half cooked.
2. Then put the potatoes on a baking sheet covered with parchment, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil, bake until golden brown.
3. Sauce: put basil, walnuts, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil in a blender and whisk until smooth.
Put the potatoes on a dish and serve with the sauce!
