Ferrero roshe is not only a delicious chocolate candy, but also a delicious cheesecake that is very easy to make at home. It is based on ordinary shortbread cookies and cream cheese. Roasted nuts are perfect for the filling.

Ingredients for the base (mold diameter – 20 cm; cheesecake weight – 1.6 kg):

  • 300 g chocolate shortbread cookies
  • 100 g of butter

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 500 g of cream cheese (you can take cottage cheese, just whip it with a blender beforehand)
  • 2 eggs
  • 75 g of sugar
  • 150 ml of 33% cream
  • 150 g of chocolate and nut paste
  • 75 g of chocolate

Ingredients for the glaze:

  • 70 g of chocolate
  • 30 ml of vegetable oil
  • 100 g of roasted hazelnuts

How to prepare the base:

1. Grind the biscuits in a blender until crumbly.

2. Add the melted butter and mix well.

3. Put into a split mold covered with parchment, forming the bottom and sides. Put in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.

Method of preparing the filling:

1. Add eggs, sugar, cream, chocolate-nut paste, and melted chocolate to the cream cheese.

2. Mix well with a whisk or at the lowest speed of the mixer until smooth.

3. Put a container of hot water on the bottom of the oven, put the cheesecake pan on the middle level, and bake in a preheated oven to 130 degrees for 1.5 hours. Do not set the temperature higher to prevent the cheesecake from cracking.

4. Cool it directly in the oven with the door ajar.

The method of preparation of the glaze:

1. Combine the melted chocolate with the butter, add the chopped hazelnuts, and mix.

2. Spread on top of the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 3 hours (preferably overnight).
