Miniature lazy dumplings can be a good option for a hearty and quick lunch. The dish turns out to be very budget-friendly because the ingredients for it can often be found in the fridge. There is no need to mold anything – you just need to form balls.
The idea of making miniature lazy cottage cheese dumplings was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasiia with the nickname anny.cooking.
Ingredients:
- 350 g of cottage cheese (preferably dry)
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp of sugar, a pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp of semolina
- 2 tbsp of flour
- flour for sprinkling the surface
- sour cream/berries/condensed milk/jam for serving
Cooking method:
1. Combine the cottage cheese, egg, salt, and sugar, rub with a spoon against the walls of the bowl, add semolina, flour, knead and leave for 10-15 minutes, semolina will take away excess moisture.
2. Put the cheese dough on a floured surface, divide it into 4 parts, roll each into a thin sausage, and cut into small pieces. Make them into balls and place them on a floured board.
