Lazy cottage cheese pie from pita bread: it is easy to prepare
If you want to prepare a tasty and satisfying dish for breakfast and snack, dishes made from cottage cheese and pita bread are ideal.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious pita casserole with cottage cheese and mozzarella on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of thin pita bread (2 pieces inside)
- 4 eggs
- 300 ml of milk
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 200 g of cottage cheese
- 100 g each: mozzarella, cottage cheese, and feta cheese/felts
- + 100 g of mozzarella for sprinkling on top
- a piece of butter
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the eggs.
2. Dip the pita bread in the egg mixture, put it in the mold, and top with the cheese filling.
3. Put the pita bread on top and bake at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes until golden brown on top.
After baking, brush it with oil and cover with foil to prevent a hard crust from forming!
