Ingredients
- Cabbage – 600 gr
- Round rice – 250 gr
- Minced meat – 1 kg
- Eggs – 2 pcs
- Carrots – 2 pcs
- Onion – 1 pc
- Dill – 3-4 sprigs
- Salt – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 3 tbsp
- Tomato sauce – 300-400 ml
Method of preparation
1. Grate the carrots, chop the onion finely, and prepare the roast.
2. Fry the onion until golden brown, then add the carrots.
3. Finely chop the cabbage, add salt, and press it down a little with your hands.
4. Finely chop the dill.
5. Wash the rice several times.
6. In a deep bowl, mix the raw rice, minced meat, eggs, roast, cabbage, dill, and salt.
7. In a separate container, combine the sauce and 100-150 ml of water.
8. With wet hands, form balls or ovals and put them into a greased baking sheet.
9. Pour the sauce over the cabbage rolls and put them in a preheated 180 oven for about 50 to 55 minutes.
10. Periodically pour the sauce from the baking sheet on top of each cabbage roll during baking.
