How to quickly cook potatoes without peeling them: a lazy dish for all occasions

There are many basic potato dishes. But no matter how simple such a meal is, you still need to peel the vegetable only if it is not cooked in its jacket. But there is a recipe in which potatoes are cooked with their skin on. And this process takes very little time, because of one simple manipulation.

Grebiluk_nastya shared the elementary idea of cooking potatoes in their skins on her Instagram page. The potatoes bake quickly because they just need to be pressed down.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes
  • cheese
  • dry or fresh garlic
  • salt, oil, herbs

Method of preparation:

1. Boil small or medium potatoes for 20-25 minutes over low heat.

2. Put it on a baking sheet.

3. Mash them.

4. Brush with oil, salt, add garlic, and put in a preheated oven at 200-220 degrees for 10 minutes.

5. Take out the baking sheet, turn the potatoes over, brush with oil again, salt, add garlic, and put in the oven for 10 minutes.

6. Remove from the oven, put a slice of cheese on each potato, and cook for another 3 minutes.

7. Put on plates and sprinkle with herbs.
