Oatmeal cookies are one of many children's favorite treats, especially with milk. You can easily make them yourself at home, you just need to choose high-quality oatmeal, because this is the basis of a delicious treat.
Today, the FoodOboz editorial team shares a recipe for real, flavorful, tasty, and natural oatmeal cookies that will become your favorite.
Ingredients:
- oatmeal – 100 g
- butter – 100 g
- egg – 1 pc
- sugar – 30 g
- brown sugar – 40 g
- flour – 70 g
- baking powder – 1 tsp
- cinnamon – 1 tsp
- salt – a pinch
Method of preparation:
- Fry the oatmeal for 10 minutes in butter to give it a very pleasant flavor.
- Sift the flour twice, add baking powder, cinnamon, and mix thoroughly.
- Beat eggs with salt, add brown sugar, and whisk thoroughly to make the mixture fluffy.
- Melt the butter and add to the egg mixture, mix and pour into the flour mixture, stir, add the roasted oatmeal, and mix well.
- Leave the finished dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set well.
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment, make small balls from the dough, and place them in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 C.
The cookies can be eaten hot with iced coffee, and they are also delicious when chilled with cocoa and hot tea.
