Olha Freimut tells how to eat oysters properly

Oysters are extremely healthy seafood that contains many vitamins and mineral salts: calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iodine, fluorine, magnesium, and nickel. You can eat them often – it all depends on your preferences and it is also important that you are not allergic to them. But often, when people come to a fish restaurant, they don't know how to eat them properly, and sometimes this becomes a reason for refusing a healthy product.

TV presenter and etiquette teacher Olha Freimut shared important and necessary tips on how to eat oysters correctly on her Instagram to avoid getting into an awkward situation.

4 rules:

  1. You need a special small fork not to pick up the mollusk and put it in your mouth, but to prick it.
  2. It should be taken only with the left hand.
  3. It is correct to drink the oyster from the wide end, not eat it with a fork.
  4. You can add sauce or lemon to taste.
