How to quickly cook juicy dumplings: a recipe from Snizhana Babkina

Dumplings are a favorite dish in many Ukrainian families. Especially delicious are those prepared with your own hands, with love and warmth. And if you use the following cooking idea, the taste will be truly perfect without any extra effort.
A simple idea for making delicious dumplings was shared by famous Ukrainian TV star Snizhana Babkina (snezhana_babkina) on her Instagram page.
Recipe for 1 kilogram of flour:
1. Add milk or water warmed to room temperature to one egg.
2. Stir and beat with a fork (not a mixer) until smooth.
3. Add flour 1 cup at a time (you can sift to make the texture airy).
4. Stir after the first cup – the dough is still liquid after that and there will be small lumps in it. Beat with a fork after each cup until the dough becomes stiff.
5. Start kneading with your hands, adding the rest of the flour as you go. First, knead in the container, and then put it on the surface, rolling it from the edges to the middle. Knead until the dough sticks to your hands just a little.
6. After that, move your hands a little to make the texture elastic.
7. Mix the minced meat with the grated onion.
8. Add salt and spices to taste.
9. Roll out the dough.
10. Cut out the circles with a glass or shot glass. Add about 0.5 teaspoon of minced meat to each circle of dough (or even less if the circles are small) and then form dumplings with your hands.
