How to fry juicy pasties without oil: they are not so fatty and high in calories

Chebureks are a dish that everyone loves. In the original version, they are cooked in a large amount of oil to make them very crispy. But you can skip this step and fry chebureks without oil. When they are ready, they must be greased with butter – this is the technique that makes the dish especially flavorful and juicy.
Food blogger Oleksii Kryuchkov (kruchkov.food) shared a recipe for chebureks made from the simplest unleavened dough on his Instagram page, which are not greasy and very juicy.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- flour - 500 g
- water - 320 ml
- salt - 1 tsp.
- oil - 1 tbsp.
Filling:
- chicken thigh fillet
- onion
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, mix water, oil, salt and flour. Knead it for about 5-7 minutes, then cover it with a towel and let it rest for 20 minutes.
2. For the filling, grind the fillet and onion in a meat grinder.
3. Add salt and pepper to the mixture. Mix well.
4. Divide the finished dough into equal pieces. Roll each one out thinly, put the filling inside, and form large chebureks.
5. Fry the pasties in a dry frying pan for 5 minutes on each side.
6. Brush the finished pasties with butter.
