Hearty roll in breadcrumbs: what meat to cook from
A roll is a dish where you can combine your favorite ingredients, but spend a minimum of time preparing it. Especially if you choose minced chicken for the base. The texture will be light and dietary. For a crispy crust, add breadcrumbs. The dish is baked quickly enough in the oven.
The idea of cooking meatloaf with a filling was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx).
Ingredients for the roll:
- minced chick – 500 g
- eggs – 1 pc
- onion – 50 g
- breadcrumbs – 20 g
- half a tsp of salt, pepper, and dried garlic
Ingredients for the filling:
- boiled eggs – 5 pcs
- grated cheese – 100 g
- green onions – 50 g
- sesame seeds for sprinkling
Method of preparation:
1. Put the following on a plate: minced meat, finely chopped (or grated) onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and dried (or fresh) garlic. Knead well and beat off (so the meat will be more dense).
2. Put the meat on wet parchment or cling film.
3. With wet hands, make the bottom layer of meat into an even rectangle
4. Pour the filling on the meat: grated cheese, grated boiled eggs, and chopped green onions.
5. You can sprinkle a little salt on everything.
6. Roll the roll carefully.
7. With wet hands, level it, seal it, and squeeze it from the sides so that the cheese does not leak out. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
8. Put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
