Elementary walnut cake with ice cream cream: be sure to prepare for tea

A delicious cake is perfect for a cozy family tea party. Instead of complex and multi-component honey cake and Napoleon, make a walnut cake. It requires a minimum amount of ingredients and time.
The idea of making a walnut cake for tea was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia with the nickname juli_co.ok. The cakes are perfectly combined with delicate plombir cream.
Ingredients for the cakes:
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- vanilla sugar – 1 tbsp
- sugar – 120 g
- milk – 120 g
- Odorless vegetable oil – 120 ml.
- flour – 200 g
- baking powder – 12 g
- pre-dried nuts – 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the eggs with sugar in a flat and fluffy mass.
2. Add milk, oil, then all the dry ingredients (mix in advance), except nuts.
3. Finely chop the nuts with a knife and add to the mixture.
4. Stir gently with a spatula to prevent the mixture from settling.
5. Bake at 170 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Ingredients for the cream:
- milk – 800 g
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- vanilla sugar – 20 g
- sugar – 5 tbsp
- cornstarch – 4 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix everything until smooth and brew the cream. It is important to stir constantly until the mass is protective.
2. Remove from heat, add 40 g of butter and 100 g of white chocolate.
3. Stir, cover with cling film and let cool.
4. Stir the cake, and sprinkle with nuts.
5. Allow to soak.
