Elementary plum muffins: how to make a seasonal dessert

Plum season is in full swing. This fruit is the perfect base for a variety of delicious desserts. And if baking cakes is not for you, you can make simple sweet muffins. The dough is easy to knead.
The idea of making plum muffins was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tatiana Yushina (tanyushina).
Ingredients for 12-16 pieces:
- butter - 100 g
- sugar - 150-180 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- sour cream - 100 g
- milk - 100 g
- flour - 300 g
- baking powder - 2 tsp.
- plums (Hungarian) - 6-7 pcs.
Ingredients for streusel:
- butter - 50 g
- sugar - 50 g (preferably brown)
- instant oatmeal - 50 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat soft butter with sugar.
2. Add eggs one by one, whisking well each time.
3. Add sour cream, whisk.
4. Mix flour with baking powder.
5. Add half of the flour, mix.
6. Pour in the milk, stir.
7. Add the remaining flour, mix until completely homogeneous.
8. Cut the plums into small pieces, add to the dough, mix gently.
9. Prepare the streusel: melt the butter. Add cereal and sugar. Stir to combine.
10. Put the dough into the muffin tins, sprinkle with streusel (about 1 tsp).
11. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
12. Cool, remove from the molds, and serve.
