Elementary clafoutis pie with cherries: mix everything and you're done

Clafoutis with cherries or cherries is a traditional French pastry. It looks like an ordinary sweet cake, which tastes very delicate and somewhat reminiscent of a classic casserole. This dessert is easy to prepare.
Food blogger Anastasia with the nickname nastya_yizha shared a recipe for French clafoutis with cherries on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cherries - 500-600 g
- butter - 30 g + 10-15 g for greasing the mold
- sugar - 90 g + 20 g for sprinkling the mold
- milk - 240 g
- eggs - 4 pcs
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- lemon zest
- flour - 100 g
- salt - a pinch
- powdered sugar for decoration
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare the mold, namely the bottom and sides with butter. Pour 20 g of sugar and spread over the entire mold.
2. Put the cherries on the bottom.
3. Next, make the dough. To do this, add sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, lemon zest, milk, and melted butter to the eggs. Mix everything thoroughly.
4. Add the flour to the mixture and mix until smooth.
5. Pour the finished dough over the cherries. Bake at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
