Cutlets are a dish that almost everyone loves. They are very hearty, tasty and easy to prepare. But, if you don't eat meat or just want to try something new, cook a familiar dish in a new way by replacing the meat with vegetables or legumes, for example.
Cook Olha shared a recipe for delicious cabbage cutlets that will taste just as good as meat ones on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- cabbage - 700-1000 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- semolina - 4-5 tbsp.
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - to taste
- butter - 10 g
Method of preparation:
1. Finely chop cabbage and simmer in a pan under a lid until soft.
2. Leave the cabbage to cool. Be sure to drain the excess water.
3. Cut onion into small cubes and fry in butter until golden brown.
4. Put the cabbage and onion in a bowl, add semolina, mix and leave for 10 minutes to swell.
5. Then form the cutlets with your hands and fry in vegetable oil on both sides for 2 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with sour cream!
