Canned cucumbers with mustard for the winter: the easiest recipe for a savory appetizer
Cucumbers can be preserved with garlic, pepper, onion, bell pepper, mustard, vinegar, and ground black pepper. It is very important to remember that jars and lids must be sterilized very well beforehand.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious canned cucumbers in mustard sauce with pepper and garlic on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 8 kg of cucumbers
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp of odorless vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp of vinegar 9%
- 6 tbsp of salt
- 4 tbsp mustard powder
- 4 tbsp ground black pepper
- 4 tbsp crushed garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the cucumbers, cut them into four parts, and lengthwise, if they are small, simply in half.
2. Add the remaining ingredients, mix, and leave to stand for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
3. Wash the jars, fill them with cucumbers, and sterilize for 12 minutes.
4. Remove from the water to prevent overcooking, roll up the lids, cool, and store in the basement.
