Muhlama is a national Turkish porridge. It is based on hard cheese, which makes it very viscous. It is easy to prepare – just 10 minutes and you are guaranteed a hearty breakfast option. Muhlama is especially tasty with a slice of fresh bread.

The recipe for Turkish cottage cheese porridge with muhlama was published in one of the culinary blogs (katlin_stay) on Tik-Tok.

Ingredients:

  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • corn flour - 2 tbsp
  • boiling water - 1\5 cups
  • hard cheese (cheddar or suluguni)

Method of preparation:

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.

2. Immediately add corn flour and stir.

3. When bubbles begin to appear, add boiling water. Boil for a few minutes.

4. Cut the hard cheese into cubes and add to the mass. The cheese should be completely melted and the mass should become very thick.
