Lazy pita bread pie: how to make a juicy cheese pie without dough
Achma is a traditional Georgian pastry made from thin boiled or yeasted dough and several types of cheese. If you don't have much time to cook, you can make achma from pita bread.
Food blogger Yulia Fedorenko (fedorenko_pp) shared a recipe for lazy cheese achma made with pita bread on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 100 g
- milk - 100 ml
- eggs - 2 pcs
- pita bread - 100 g
- hard cheese - 50 g
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese, milk, eggs, and salt until smooth.
2. Dice pita bread and grate hard cheese into the mixture. Mix well.
3. Pour the mixture into the mold.
4. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
