How to bake potatoes in an unusual and tasty way: we share an original recipe
Baked potatoes are not only a delicious dish, but also healthy if they are cooked properly – without frying and a lot of oil. It is worth noting that potatoes go well with all foods, herbs, and spices.
Cook Yevheniia Karpiuk shared a recipe for delicious baked potatoes with pear and bacon on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 1.5 kg
- apple cider vinegar - 4 tbsp.
- soy sauce - 7 tbsp.
- olive oil - 3 tbsp.
- pepper mixture - 1 tsp.
- liquid honey - 2 tbsp.
- garlic - 4 cloves.
- pear (you can use dates, prunes, figs, dried apricots, plums, apricots) - 1 pc.
- bacon - 100 g
- dill or any herbs
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes, boil in salted water until half cooked.
2. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, honey, oil, add pepper, garlic.
3. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and mix well.
4. Remove the pits from the dates and prunes, put the cheese slices inside, and add to the potatoes.
5. Cut the pear into oblong slices and wrap in bacon.
6. Put the bacon rolls on the potatoes, bake the potatoes for 15-20 minutes at 200-220°C.
Sprinkle the finished dish with green onions or dill!
