Oatmeal cookies are one of our favorite types of home baking. And you can make them completely healthy without using sugar and eggs. In this form, cookies can be eaten for breakfast, and can also be safely given to children for a snack at school. The pastries are also very convenient to prepare because you don't need to make many individual cookies – just bake one large oatmeal cake, which you just cut into pieces when ready.

Oatmeal cookies recipe without eggs and sugar

Ingredients:

  • oatmeal - 2 cups
  • flour - 1 cup
  • salt - 1\2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1\4 tsp.
  • hot water - 1\4 tsp.
  • cane sugar - 1\2 tsp.
  • vegetable oil - 1\2 cups

Method of preparation:

1. Mix all dry ingredients: oatmeal + flour + salt + sugar + baking powder. Pour hot water, mix and leave for 10 minutes.

2. Add oil to the resulting mass, mix until it becomes a dough. The dough should be elastic and mold well. If not, add a little more oil and water. Form the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and leave it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

3. Roll out the dough into a 5-centimeter thick rectangle. Put a layer of dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

4. Bake at 170 degrees for 15 minutes.

5. Let the finished cake cool to room temperature and cut it into pieces.
