Berry starch drink or kysil: how to prepare to preserve all the vitamins
There is no better drink for maintaining health and accumulating vitamins in the body than starch drink or kysil. It can be prepared in winter using frozen berries, or it can be cooked in summer using the freshest products.
It turns out that the recipe is very simple and allows you to use any combination of berries. Food blogger Lisa Hlinska shared how to do it on Instagram.
Ingredients
- water - 1 liter
- cherries without pits - 100 g
- raspberries - 100 gr
- strawberries - 100 gr
- black currants - 100 g
- cornstarch - 50 g + 100 ml of water
- sugar - 50 g
Method of preparation
1. Mix all the berries in a separate container and blend them to a puree.
2. Combine the puree with water and add sugar.
3. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Strain.
4. Mix starch with water well until the lumps dissolve.
5. Add the starch and water to the berry water and turn on the heat. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil and cook for a few more minutes.
6. Let it cool completely and serve.
