US President Donald Trump exchanged cute remarks with his wife Melania during their dance at the inauguration. The couple attended three balls in one day, capturing the attention of millions of people.

The Trumps chatted naturally while dancing to the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" performed by the US Marine Corps Band. Lip-reading expert Jeremy Freeman told the Mirror that he was able to make out a few phrases.

"Today is one we will never forget," Melania said to her husband, to which Trump replied: "You're right, I'll learn, I'll fight."

The first US couple exchanged a few more lines. For example, Trump told his wife that he had shaved and asked if she could smell his lotion. According to experts, Melania was uncomfortable during the awkward dance with her husband. However, despite the tension, she tried to smile sweetly.

"Trump and Melania's first dance at the inaugural ball was stiff and awkward. It looked more like a hostage situation than a celebration," said expert Greg Matt Travis. "The man who claimed to 'make America great again' couldn't even make a slow dance convincing."

During the balls, the Trumps looked gorgeous. Melania wore a white and black dress made by stylist Herve Pierre, while the president wore a tuxedo.
