Spin Genie conducted a study to find out which celebrities are so similar that it is almost impossible to tell them apart. Experts identified the star lookalikes using the golden ratio formula.
This is a mathematical equation invented by the ancient Greeks. According to the golden ratio formula, the closer the proportions of the face or body are to 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful the person is, reports Daily Mail.
Among the famous men, it is very easy to confuse actors David Schwimmer and Dylan McDermott. They took the first place in the list. Piers Morgan once admitted that he confused the actors at an Oscar party. In 2020, he thought he was talking to the Friends star and later found out that it was McDermott. Morgan called this discovery humiliating.

Henry Cavill and Matt Bomer took the second place in the ranking. The "Witcher" star had a golden ratio of 2.03, while his counterpart had a 2.01.

The experts also found female celebrities that many people confuse. The leaders were actresses Emma McKay and Margot Robbie. The difference between them according to the golden ratio formula was only 0.01.

"I've been told for years that I look like the girl from Sex Education, whose name is Emma McKay," Robbie admitted.
The second place went to singer Halsey and actress Millie Bobby Brown. The difference in the coefficient was also 0.01.
"They are the closest to the golden ratio - 1.96 and 1.97, respectively," experts said.
