What to cook for dinner for a large company: a hearty chicken quiche on crispy dough
To quickly prepare a hearty dinner for a large group, make a chicken quiche. All you need to do is make a simple dough for the base and put the filling on it. A few minutes in the oven and the dish is ready.
Food blogger Iryna Kozachuk shared how to make a hearty chicken quiche on crispy dough on Instagram. No need for any garnishes or other additions.
Ingredients for the base:
- flour - 280 g
- butter - 150 g
- salt - 0.5 tsp.
- eggs - 1 pc.
- cold water - 2 tbsp.
Ingredients for the filling:
- chicken fillet - 300-400 g
- bell pepper - 1 pc.
- corn - 100 g
- green beans - 100 g
- cherry tomatoes - 6 pcs.
- hard cheese - 150 g
- cream 30% - 300 ml.
- eggs - 1 pc.
- salt, oregano, garlic
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, mix the flour and salt, add the cold butter, and grind into crumbs. Pour in the egg and water and knead the dough quickly. Wrap in plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator for an hour.
2. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and fry for 4-5 minutes, season with salt, add oregano, and squeeze the garlic.
3. Cut bell pepper into strips and fry for 3-4 minutes, add green beans, and fry for another 1-2 minutes. Pour in the corn, and season with salt and oregano.
4. Spread the dough over the mold (24 cm), forming the sides. Add the egg, cream, and 100 g of cheese to the chicken and vegetables, mix, and pour onto the base.
5. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and arrange the tomato halves.
6. Bake in a preheated 200-degree oven for 40-45 minutes. Cut when cooled.
