On her Instagram page, stylist Yuliko told us what mistakes make women look older. If you don't want to add three or four years to your life, try to avoid certain makeup and some things in your wardrobe.

The trendy color of burgundy

Burgundy in the fall of 2024 is at the peak of popularity, but unfortunately, it does not suit everyone. A sweater or shirt in wine or cherry shades will add several years, the stylist warned. After all, against the background of this trendy color, the face will have an earthy tint.

Too dark, too bright makeup

Makeup with dark lip shades, black, dark brown, and gray shadows, a thick layer of foundation, too sharp, graphic eyebrows – all of this will make you look older. Instead of such makeup, it is better to choose nude: apply a little blush, use lighter shades of lipstick and eyeshadow, and don't forget about highlighter. This technique will create a freshness effect and make you look younger.

Satin shiny surface

If you have facial wrinkles or irregularities on your face, you should beware of satin and shiny things, because they will only emphasize the uneven tone.

"So, you should avoid perfectly smooth fabrics next to the face, especially light ones, as they can emphasize skin imperfections," says stylist Juliko.
