Puff pastry in 15 minutes – the main secrets of cooking

Puff pastry is often used to make samosas, pies, buns, croissants, as well as pizza and pies. It's certainly much easier to buy ready-made dough, but it's best to try making it yourself at home.

The secrets of successful puff pastry:
- ice water
- quality butter
- vinegar
ingredients:
- Flour - 600 g
- Water - 300 ml
- Butter - 200 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
Method of preparation:
- Take ice water, add the egg, salt, and vinegar, mix everything thoroughly, and add the sifted flour, knead the dough well with your hands.
- Put it on a floured table and divide it into two parts.
- Roll out the first part as thinly as possible – about 3-5 mm.
- Grease the resulting layer well with butter.
- Roll out the second layer very thinly, place it on top of the first, and also brush with butter, roll it into a roll, and then into a snail.
- Wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- After the time has elapsed, take it out and flatten it well to make a round layer, roll it with a rolling pin, fold it into an envelope, and cut it.
The finished dough can be used immediately for cooking or frozen.
