Mushrooms in cream sauce: how to cook to make them tastier than white ones
Champignons are a great alternative to wild mushrooms. They are sold in every store at an affordable price and don't take much time to cook. That is why they can be called one of the most popular mushrooms.
On Instagram, a food blogger with the nickname katia cooking told us how to cook champignons in a creamy sauce so that everyone can enjoy them. This dish will be the perfect complement to any side dish.
Ingredients
- Small champignons – 300 gr
- Cherry tomatoes – 100 gr
- Cream 33-38% – 200 ml
- Salt
- Pepper
- Seasoning for mushrooms
- Mozzarella or cheddar cheese – 100 g
- Dill and herbs
Method of preparation
1. Wash the mushrooms and fry over medium heat until golden brown.
2. Cut the tomatoes in half and add to the mushrooms.
3. Fry everything together, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
4. Mix the cream with all the spices and stir well. Add to the mushrooms.
5 Stir and simmer for 7-10 minutes, stirring constantly.
6. Grate the cheese and put it in the pan.
7. Add the herbs and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
