If you want to make a delicious pie with the main autumn fruits – apples and pears – crumble is definitely the best option. It is absolutely elementary in preparation, a very light, fragrant and so delicious pie with almost no dough since it is based on apples.

TV presenter Valentyna Khamaiko shared a stunning recipe for a delicious apple and oatmeal crumble on her YouTube channel that will delight all your loved ones and guests (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

Ingredients:

  • flour - 70 g
  • apples - 5-6 pcs.
  • brown sugar - 50-60 g
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp.
  • butter - 85 g
  • oatmeal - 30 g
  • walnuts - 50 g
  • lemon juice - 1-2 tbsp
  • salt - a pinch
  • dried ginger - a pinch
  • butter for the mold - 30 g

Method of preparation:

  1. First of all, grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Wash the apples, peel them, cut them into cubes, and pour lemon juice over them to prevent them from darkening.
  3. Be sure to sprinkle them with sugar, cinnamon, and dried ginger, mix thoroughly, and pour into the mold.
  4. Mix flour with brown sugar, add oatmeal, butter, and chopped walnuts, mix thoroughly with your hands, and sprinkle the apples with this mixture.
  5. Put it in a hot oven, and cook the apple crumble for about 30-40 minutes at 180 C.

You can eat it hot with a scoop of ice cream.
