The idea of cooking broccoli in a pan was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Nataliia Zhuk (nataliia_zhuk_cooking). Instead of boiling the cabbage, you need to fry it.

Ingredients:

  • broccoli – 500 g
  • vegetable oil
  • blue onion
  • carrot
  • bell pepper – 1/2
  • eggs – 4-5 pcs
  • salt, black pepper
  • dried garlic – 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt, pepper – to taste
  • cheese – 60 g
  • cherry tomatoes – 5-6 pcs

Method of preparation:

1. Divide 500 g of broccoli into florets.

2. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan.

3. Put the broccoli.

4. Fry over medium heat.

5. Add the chopped blue onion and mix well.

6. Also prepare carrots and red pepper, cut into strips.

7. Put the vegetables in a frying pan, mix thoroughly, and simmer over low heat under a closed lid until tender, stirring occasionally.

8. While the vegetables are cooking, beat the eggs in a bowl, and add salt and pepper to taste.

9. When the vegetables are almost ready, add dried garlic, salt and pepper.

10. Stir and pour in the eggs.

11. Cover and cook over low heat for 7-10 minutes.

12. Sprinkle with hard cheese and cherry tomatoes if desired.

13. Then simmer for another 5 minutes under the lid.
