Ingredients for 500 grams of couscous:

  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • bell pepper - 1 pc.
  • green peas (frozen) - 100 g
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • salt - 1 teaspoon
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/3 tsp.
  • bay leaves - 2 pcs.
  • oil for frying - 2 tbsp
  • butter - 1 tbsp (you can use 2-3, if you want to make a more hearty dish)
  • water - 600 g

1. Dice the vegetables.

2. Put in a preheated frying pan.

3. Add onions and carrots first, fry for 2-3 minutes, and then add peppers, spices, and garlic.

4. Fry for another 1-2 minutes and add the couscous with butter.
