Eggplants are very healthy autumn vegetables that can be used to make many delicious dishes. For example, warm salads, rolls with garlic, pickled and canned, casseroles, caviar, and even cutlets. They are also low in calories – 100 g of eggplant contains only 20 calories.

Chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared on Instagram a recipe for the best side dish for all dishes – eggplant with honey, which is easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • eggplants - 1-2 pcs.
  • olive oil - 3-5 tbsp.
  • honey - 1-2 tbsp
  • flour - 1-2 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the eggplant, and cut it into large pieces.
  2. Roll them well in flour.
  3. Heat a frying pan, add oil, and fry them until tender.
  4. At the end, add honey, stir, and don't let the honey burn, remove the cooked vegetables.

They will be the best garnish for any dish.
