What Mark Zuckerberg eats and treats his guests with

Mark Zuckerberg, the youngest billionaire in the history of mankind, the founder of the Facebook social network, has been in the news for a day now, due to one of the largest Facebook outages in recent times. And as strange as it may seem, he is just an ordinary person who lives a completely non-pompous, shocking life, despite the opportunities and is no different from an ordinary person, on the contrary, he leads a more measured, restrained and rather modest lifestyle, it is "read" in his clothes, behavior and even culinary preferences.

Today, FoodOboz offers you to look at the billionaire from the other side and find out what culinary preferences he has, as well as what rules he follows in eating and what he treats his guests with.

As reported in The Guardian, Mark Zuckerberg is not at all fussy about food, in the morning he eats whatever is "at hand" - it can be yesterday's pizza and even a burger that is not of the first freshness.

Zuckerberg is not picky about food

Many media outlets wrote that Zuckerberg is a fan of diets, healthy lifestyles and is a vegetarian. Of course, this was partly true until one day the billionaire surprised everyone with his confession on Facebook, in which he said, "I just killed a pig and a goat."

According to information published in The Guardian, Zuckerberg got the idea from a chef named Jesse Kuhl, who runs a restaurant called Flea Street Café, not far from Zuckerberg's home in Palo Alto, California.

She introduced him to some local farmers who showed him how best to kill his first chicken, pig, and goat.

"It was the first time he ever cut a goat's throat with a knife, and that was the best way to do it," Kuhl says.

Zuckerberg later explained in an email to Fortune that his "newfound passion for slaughtering animals is just his latest annual challenge to himself."

At the same time, Zuckerberg loves burgers

"This year, my personal challenge is to be grateful for the food I have to eat. I think a lot of people forget that a living thing has to die for you to eat meat, so my goal is to not let myself forget that and be grateful for what I have," Zuckerberg added.

Zuckerberg also noted that although he has become a "vegetarian," he allows himself to eat meat from animals he has killed himself.

Billionaire eats only meat from animals he killed himself

"This year, I became a vegetarian because the only meat I eat is from animals I killed myself. So far, it's been a good experience. I eat more healthy food and have learned a lot about farming and animal breeding," the billionaire said.

It is worth noting that Zuckerberg was not shy about treating his friends and guests with such "delicacies", once when he was hosting Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, he decided to treat the guest with fresh goat meat, which he personally killed a few hours before the guests arrived. But Dorsey was not ready for such a dish and limited himself to a salad.
