Without vinegar or sterilization: how to preserve peas for the winter
Regardless of the season, canned green peas can be easily purchased at any supermarket. But everyone understands that there can be a lot of dyes and impurities. So, the best option would be to cook this product at home. All you need is a few commonplace spices and water. And in winter, canned peas can be added to salad or even porridge.

Ingredients:
- peas – 1 kg
- water – 1 liter
- salt – 40 g
- sugar – 30 g
- citric acid – 6 g
Method of preparation:
1. Put water on the fire and bring it to a boil.
2. Add salt and sugar. Wait until the ingredients dissolve.
3. Pour in the washed peas. Cook until tender.
4. Add the acid and boil for another 5 minutes.
5. Put in sterilized jars.
