Without mayonnaise: a light and tasty Chinese cabbage salad in a new way for the Christmas table
Chinese cabbage is a very budget-friendly, but healthy, tasty, and versatile vegetable for making salads, cabbage rolls, and it also makes a light soup. Peking cabbage goes well with cheese, vegetables, herbs, eggs, yogurt, corn, meat, fish, and mushrooms.
Cook Olena shared on Instagram a recipe for a simple Chinese cabbage salad with fillets, eggs, and a delicious dressing.
Ingredients:
- Fillet - 1 pc.
- Corn - 300 g
- Cucumber - 1 pc.
- Chinese cabbage - 300 g
- Eggs - 4 pcs.
- Greek yogurt - 3 tbsp.
- Dijon mustard - 1 tsp.
- Mustard - 0.5 tsp.
- Pepper, salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the fillet, then cut into large pieces.
2. Cut the cucumbers into large cubes.
3. Finely chop the cabbage.
4. Boil the eggs and cut them into cubes.
5. Sauce: mix yogurt with two types of mustard, pepper, salt, and stir.
6. Assemble the salad: put all the ingredients in a bowl, add the corn, season with the sauce, mix, and you're ready to eat.
