Duck is a fairly lean, dietary meat. Therefore, it often dries out during cooking. To prevent this from happening, you should choose the right marinade.

The idea of cooking duck in the oven was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiana (tetiana_meshcheriakova). According to this technology, the marinade is prepared on the basis of mayonnaise.

Ingredients:

  • duck - 1 pc.
  • apples and pears - 2 pcs.
  • potatoes - 1 kg
  • onions - 4 pcs. medium
  • garlic - 2 heads
  • dill - a few sprigs
  • mayonnaise - 100 g
  • salt and ground black pepper

Ingredients for the marinade:

1. Mix mayonnaise, a pinch of salt and pepper, and crushed garlic.

2. Smear the duck with this mixture inside and on top (after making cuts).

3. Put chopped apples and pears in the middle of the duck.

4. Put the duck in the baking sleeve.

5. Fill all the free space in the sleeve with potatoes, seasoned with salt and pepper, and add a few sprigs of dill on top.

6. Tie the sleeve on both sides and put in the oven at 180 degrees for 1.5 hours.
