Lecho is a vegetable preserve made of tomatoes and peppers. Such a preparation turns out to be moderately thick and spicy. It can be eaten instead of salads or added to other dishes instead of sauce. Even just with porridge will be very tasty.

Ingredients:

  • tomatoes - 1.5 kg.
  • sweet pepper - 3 kg.
  • sugar - 200 g
  • oil - 200 g
  • vinegar 9% - 150 g
  • garlic (heads) - 2 pcs.
  • parsley greens - 3 tbsp.
  • salt - 3 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Wash tomatoes, chop and whip in a blender.

2. Wash, peel and chop the peppers into medium-sized pieces.

3. Pour peppers into tomatoes.

4. Add chopped herbs, as well as all spices (you can also add black and allspice peas).

5. Cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Sterilize 1 liter - 15 minutes, 0.5 liter - 8 minutes.

7. Turn over and cover with a blanket.
