Rice is one of the staples in the kitchens of millions of housewives around the world. But not every one of them knows how to cook rice perfectly. Very often you have to deal with the problem of rice sticking together during cooking.

To avoid this trouble, you should know and use a simple life hack. Famous chef Jamie Oliver shared it with Mirror. It turns out that to cook perfect rice, you need a completely different technology than the one we are used to.

To begin, Jamie suggests rinsing the rice in a colander until it is clear and then placing it in boiling salted water. Let the rice boil for 5 minutes over medium heat without a lid. Drain the rice in a colander and immediately cover it with foil.

Pour 2.5 cm of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Place a colander with foil on top of the pot and let the rice steam for the next 5 minutes. As a result, you will get perfectly cooked grains of rice that are not stuck together.
