1. Buckwheat porridge cutlets with potatoes

Ingredients:

  • water - 1 cup
  • buckwheat - 3 cups
  • potatoes - 5-6 pcs.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • oil - 5-6 tbsp.
  • salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Rinse and cook the buckwheat.
  2. Wash, peel and grate the potatoes.
  3. Mix the porridge with the potatoes, add chopped onion, salt, spices, and mix.
  4. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, form patties with your hands and fry until cooked.

Serve with a vegetable salad.

2. Buckwheat casserole

Ingredients:

  • buckwheat - 150 g
  • hard cheese - 160 g
  • butter - 1 tsp.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • fresh dill - 0.3 bunches
  • chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
  • milk - 100 ml
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • water - 350 ml

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the buckwheat well and cook until half cooked.
  2. Grate the cheese.
  3. Beat eggs with salt and milk.
  4. Wash and chop the dill and onion.
  5. Take a baking dish, put the first layer of buckwheat, sprinkle with half of the grated cheese, then onion, dill, buckwheat and cheese again, and pour the milk and egg mixture over the casserole.
  6. Put it in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 200 C.
