Chocolate bean brownie

Ingredients:

  • Red beans - boiled or canned - 250 g ⠀
  • Pitted cherries - 100 g
  • Raspberries - 100 g
  • Cocoa powder - 30-40 g
  • Butter (or coconut oil) 82.5% - 50 g
  • Eggs - 2 pcs. (or 2 tbsp. of flaxseed for the vegan version)
  • Vanilla - to taste
  • Cocoa powder - 30-40 g
  • Dark chocolate 70-90% - 90-100 g
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp.
  • Baking powder or baking powder - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation :

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix beans, softened butter, eggs, vanilla, and baking powder in a blender until smooth.
  3. Chop the chocolate very finely or grate it, mix it with cocoa, baking powder, and salt, and mix it with the bean mixture.
  4. Add the cherries and mix.
  5. Coat a low-sided baking dish with butter or coconut oil, pour in the batter, and bake until tender.

How to make hummus from beans

Ingredients:

  • a can of canned white beans or just boiled
  • sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
  • star anise - a pinch
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • salt - to taste
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves.

Method of preparation:

Bean hummus
  1. Fry 2 tbsp. of sesame seeds and a pinch of cumin in a dry frying pan, then grind in a coffee grinder.
  2. Put beans, a clove of garlic, ground sesame seeds, salt, and 1 tbsp of olive oil in a blender bowl and whisk until smooth.

Serve with fresh vegetables.
